"I believe anybody who tells you he is unbiased is a liar. Being human gives you bias, and you can't avoid that. The best you can ever hope to be is fair."

I will definitely make RaceJournalOnline.com part of my daily reading and preparation. Cheers and Jeers is one of my favorite columns in the sport. Carol has a way putting the race, and its broadcast into perspective in a way that's fun, poignant, and fresh. Her columns always inspire a lot of reaction and that's half the fun of the site. Carol speaks and writes from the heart. I respect and enjoy that point of view!

Carol has been great at throwing both bouquets and bricks at the racers and TV networks. Best of all, her efforts have spawned a host of imitators, and you know what they say about imitation. The others may have copied Carol's style of writing, but they are all a lap down (and no, there's no lucky dog).

Cheers to the original, and best wishes for success with the new website.

I don't spend much time reading online reports, but I do read Carol's. I like to hear her perspective on the broadcasts, and appreciate her honesty. She has a passion for our sport, and Carol's column is one of the few I read that actually make the week's news fun to read. Good Luck, Carol, and keep it fun!

If you are a race fan that gets your shorts wadded up easily, Carol might not make your Christmas card list. Her random thoughts are sprinkled with truth, humor and sarcasm and no punches are pulled. But if you consider yourself a Patriot, a firm believer in God or just have a desire to see racing the way it used to be, Race Journal Online could become your favorite spot on the web.

Carol always gives an honest, straightforward, and humorous view of the most recent Cup race in her column, and she's also not afraid to stir things up a little when needed, too. Her conservative, family-oriented viewpoint of what's happening in Cup racing is refreshing in these days of driver-bashing and mud-slinging.

I had the pleasure to work with Carol when she provided stories for my book, Chicken Soup for the NASCAR Soul. Carol is passionate, informed and intelligent. Her opinions are well formulated, factual and make you think. Race Journal Online captures the essence of why we love racing and Carol is racing's voice of insight and perspective.
